Fire-Rated Plinths for Safe and Compliant Displays
Looking for fire-rated plinths that meet the latest building and insurance regulations? At Exhibition Plinths, we supply high-quality display plinths, pedestals, and cabinets that comply with Euro Class B fire regulations—the highest rating achievable for wood-based products.
Certified Fire-Rated Display Solutions
We use only certified fire-resistant materials, including:
- Medite FR MDF for a fire-resistant base
- Xero Fire paint coatings for enhanced fire safety
- Euro Class B-rated vinyls for the perfect finishing touch
Every component of our fire-rated plinths has been tested and approved to meet Euro Class B fire safety standards. Certification documents are included with every order.
What Does Euro Class B Fire Rating Mean?
The Euro Class B fire rating is part of the European reaction-to-fire classification system (EN 13501-1). It indicates that a material has a very limited contribution to fire. When tested under controlled conditions, Euro Class B-rated materials:
- Do not easily ignite when exposed to a small flame
- Produce limited flame spread and low heat release
- Generate minimal smoke and toxic gases
In practical terms, wood-based products rated Euro Class B—such as Medite FR MDF—have been engineered to be self-extinguishing or to burn slowly when exposed to fire. This reduces the likelihood of fire spreading quickly, offering critical extra time for evacuation and fire response in commercial or public settings.
Our fire-rated products provide peace of mind by delivering top-tier safety performance without compromising aesthetics or build quality.
