Ellie Kirby Director
Ellie looks after customers and processes within the business. The ‘about us’ page will introduce you to the staff members and highlight their key roles within the business.
“I understand that business owners exhibit their products and services in order to grow their business, therefore their display stands need to showcase their product in the best way possible. We are constantly improving our products in order to maintain maximum customer satisfaction.“
Outside of work, Ellie enjoys going to the gym and road biking, keen on fitness statistics and loves Strava.
“I try to cycle to work several times per week so that I can get 100 miles of exercise, and then take the bikes off places in the van at weekends to explore more of the country“
Russell Taylor Office Manager
Russell answers the telephone and helps customers gain the information they require for their glass display cabinets or plinths. He makes sure that all customers have their needs met and quotations managed.
Russell has spent 15 years in the retail sector and won ‘youngest retail store manager for Focus DIY’ awards followed by a career in the Police for 7 years.
Outside of work, Russell is a keen motorcyclist and track day participant! He enjoys spending time with his wife Ella, his three-legged cat Milo and Malamute Uki.
Richard Williams Head Of Manufacturing
Originally we only supplied White Spray Finished Mdf Plinths, but the company has expanded rapidly to include in-house services such as glass display cases, acrylic display cases, perspex cabinets, solid wooden plinths, signage, display lighting and bespoke display retail solutions.
“Some jobs can be incredibly involved during the quotation process – particularly those with lighting, graphics and batteries. It involves both 3D planning for visuals, and knowledge of electrics and charging powers to be able to plan electrical circuits on batteries for a solution to fit with the customer and their exhibition space. I enjoy teaching the customers about what is possible to achieve to have the best solutions made for them, which they very much appreciate“
Outside of work Richard enjoys cycling and photography, particularly drone photography from the air.
Tim Bradbury Workshop Manager
Tim was our first employee and his background of working in a factory with sheet metal and CNC machinery was advantageous to Exhibition Plinths as he had manufacturing experience. After working alongside Richard for some time with MDF and woodwork, Tim is extremely competent and precise at manufacturing exhibition plinths and glass display cases with his team.
Tim is responsible for the workshop management and organisation, as well as the training of the staff alongside Richard.
Outside of work Tim enjoys walking in the countryside, and he has 4 pet rats.
Spencer Southall Engineer
Spencer joined us in April 2016 and is in charge of everything electronic and assembly. As part of his day to day role he assembles the lighting, wires the USB control boxes and installs them into cabinets. He carries out all UV Bonding of both glass and acrylic and makes sure orders are complete and ready to go on time.
Outside of work Spencer enjoys angling and walking his Shih-tsu dog Poppy.
Andy Lugg Workshop Assistant
Andy works alongside Tim in the manufacturing of all products when they are in their beginning stages. Cutting pieces of wood to size, joining them together and making the edges rounded and perfect.
Stuart Clelland Delivery and Installation
Stuart is our van driver for the delivery and collection of items. He is extremely efficient and understands the importance of keeping in contact with customers during the delivery process.
Ashleigh Dewbery-Lugg Accountant
Ashleigh began at Exhibition Plinths in August 2013 to manage and plan the financial aspect of the business. Ashleigh is highly experienced with Sage Accounting Software and developed her niche expertise working for Delloite in a management role, before becoming freelance and working individually with clients.
