Ellie and Rich at Exhibition Plinths Ltd became friends with Carole Pearce when they worked together with her implementing her ‘development for managers’ process into the business as it grew.
Carol started the Winged Dreams Charity, when she went on holiday to The Gambia and witnessed children working on rubbish tips to find things to sell to feed their families.
We decided to start organising local events where our staff, friends and families could come along to evenings such as Bingo and Raffles in order to raise some funds to help the charity. As Carol is a business coach, she helps the families set up small businesses to help them become eventually self-sufficient. It is important to us that we help support others as we both personally and in business have had help from others in the past, and it’s nice to be able to give back when you can.
There are many reasons why we chose to back Winged Dreams:
- 100% of money donated goes to the charity itself
- Everyone donates their time for free
- The way in which they raise funds, adds value to peoples lives (Self Development Workshops etc)
- The charity is focused on helping others, help themselves
