A Bespoke Giant Tape Table for Cre8tapes at the London Stationery Show

When Cre8tapes approached us with their idea for a bespoke exhibition table, we knew it would be a project unlike any other. Their vision was bold, playful, and perfectly aligned with their philosophy of making tape exciting, creative, and fun. The brief: build a giant tape-inspired table that would stop people in their tracks at the London Stationery Show.

Turning Tape Into a Showpiece

Cre8tapes has always looked for ways to transform tape into something more than a functional tool. At previous exhibitions they created “The Tape Gallery” and even ran workshops making flowers from tape. For the London Stationery Show, they wanted to push the concept further — creating a centrepiece that would embody their passion for colour, creativity, and design.

That’s where the bespoke tape table came in. Designed to look like a giant roll of tape, the table was impossible to ignore. It tied directly into Cre8tapes’ mission to show the world that tape isn’t just brown or clear — it comes in endless colours and finishes, and can be as expressive as any art medium.

Balancing Fun and Functionality

As with all custom exhibition furniture, the challenge was combining bold design with practical functionality. The table needed to be stable, durable, and usable throughout busy trade shows.

To achieve this, we created a weighted base to prevent tipping and added a small flat area for extra stability. The tabletop extended outward, providing plenty of space for showcasing tape products, samples, and promotional materials. The result was a table that was as practical as it was visually striking.

Standing Out on the Exhibition Floor

The giant tape table was more than just furniture — it became a talking point. Visitors stopped to take a closer look, sparking conversations and drawing people into the Cre8tapes stand. In fact, their stand was even highlighted in exhibition seminars as a great example of how creative design can elevate brand presence.
